District Technology Plan
This document, the Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School Technology Plan, has been developed with the purpose to guide us as we incorporate appropriate technologies to accomplish the business and practice of education in our district. These technologies incorporate the administrative functions of student information management as well as those that provide a rich platform for teaching and learning. This plan will serve to acknowledge our current status, prioritize our needs and set our direction.
Acceptable Use Policy
Old Colony RVTHS is providing students access to the district’s electronic network. This network includes Internet access, computer services, computer equipment and related equipment for educational purposes. The purpose of this network is to assist in preparing students for success in life and work in the 21st century by providing them with electronic access to a wide range of information and the ability to communicate with people throughout the world. This document contains the rules and procedures for students’ acceptable use of the Old Colony RVTHS electronic network.
Internet Safety Policy
It is the policy of Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School to provide and maintain an information technology system that provides both an educational service to its students and other minors, and which provides adequate safeguards for their protection. To this end, the school district has adopted an Internet Safety Policy.
