BMI Screening Notice from the School Nurse

(Last Updated 5/13/2015 9:50AM)

The Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School will be doing a mandated BMI Screening for 10th graders during the fourth week of May.   The purpose of this screening is to identify signs of possible weight related issues. A simple height and weight measurement will be taken and recorded.  Complete privacy will be provided.  It is not a diagnostic service but a program to find young people who may need further evaluation.  If you want to know your child’s findings, you can call the Nurse’s office after the screenings are finished.

If you do not wish to have your son/daughter participate, sign and return the withholding form to the nurse on or before May 18, 2015.
