Old Colony Prudential Spirit Award Winners

Travis Ouellette, a senior in Computer Information Services, was nominated as the Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School District volunteer of the year in the 2015 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards Program. Travis was recognized for volunteering with the St. Vincent DePaul Society, the Abington Food Pantry, the Old Colony GSA Club, the Carver Council on Aging, and UNICEF. He has earned the Prudential Spirit of Community Achievement Certificate.

Also recognized for their community service were Chad Underhill, a senior in Computer Information Systems, for his volunteer work with the Boy Scouts of America, the Rochester Library, Rochester Memorial Elementary School, and Annual Town Clean-up Day, as well as the various Old Colony National Honor Society opportunities, Kristy Fitzpatrick, a senior in Cosmetology, for her various volunteer efforts with Old Colony’s National Honor Society and Skills USA organization, and Katelyn Souza, a senior in Health Careers, also for her various volunteer efforts with Old Colony’s National Honor Society and Skills USA organization. Chad, Kristy, and Katelyn have earned the Prudential Spirit of Community Merit Certificates.

The Certificates were awarded to these deserving students at the District School Committee meeting held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014.
